Title: The Legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, has a rich legend. The tale is believed to be about a moon goddess, Chang'e, who fled to the moon after stealing the elixir of immortality. Here's a brief version of the story:
Once upon a time, there was a famous alchemist named Hou Yi. He was known for his skills in concocting immortality potions. One day, he won a celestial bow and arrows at a shooting contest, which allowed him to protect his village from celestial beasts.
Hou Yi had a beautiful wife, Chang'e. One day, he received an elixir of immortality from the gods. He shared it with Chang'e, but as he was about to take a sip, ten suns appeared in the sky, threatening to burn the Earth. In a heroic act, Hou Yi shot down nine suns, saving the world.
However, Chang'e was curious about the elixir's power and secretly swallowed it all. Suddenly, she felt her body floating, and she was drawn towards the moon. Hou Yi searched for her, but could only see her reflection on the moon. He then placed a rabbit on the moon, which has been there ever since, pounding herbs for her.
Now, every Mid-Autumn Festival, families gather to admire the full moon, eat mooncakes, and celebrate the legend of Chang'e.
